dying 1990 240: update 200 1990

cleaning out the throttle body and the two ports on top of it made the idle much better, and has eliminated the hesitation/dying when the engine is cold. It pulls a healthy amount of vacuum on the intake manifold. I think it can be made better still, though.

A couple of questions...

Where is the IAC motor?

Can the throttle position switch really be cleaned/messed with? On the jaguars i usually tinker with, messing with them is usually not a good idea. (esp. with intake cleaner ;)

What is the device witht he vacuum hose to it sticking up at an angle from the center of the intake manifold?

Thanks!

-Dan
