I have installed a "Bass Blaster" sound system (in the words of B.C.;)) and am worried about cooking my alternator. I am pushing 1600 watts thru 4 guage to a cap to the amp... would like a 100 amp chevy alternator work? would a hot rodded one wire alt work? how would i wire the idiot light switch if so? thx..
