high miles 240 - buy? 200

I am looking at a one owner '87 240GL wagon in great shape but has 225,000 miles on it. I wonder if this is silly to buy at this point/how many more miles might I get out of a well maintained 240 such as this? Might it still be alive in four years when my kids start driving?
