camshaft question 200 1990

alright, ive decided to go ahead and get the VX camshaft from IPD. anyone have experience with installing one themselves? is it a job a novice could do? or should i just let a mechanic do it?

also, assuming i let a mechanic do it, would he be able to go ahead and advance it the 4-5 degrees to get the low end boost?
