Hi, knowledgeable friends...

I am not familiar with Volvo station-wagons at all.

I'll probably be replacing the rear-axle and tracking components on a 1983 245T.

Two questions:

1) Will the axle and tracking components from my 1979 244 fit the wagon,
dimension-wise?

2) My 244 rear-axle is a 3.91. Would that be an appropriate ratio for an
intercooled 245T running an early M46 transmission and a mildly lightened
(20 lbs. > 17 lbs.) flywheel?
