I have a 1995 960 and I love it except the BRAKES. They pulsate to the point that passengers riding with me think that they are going to fail. I have had the rotors turned and the pads replaced many times. Everytime I take it to the volvo mechanic they say "oh those volvos are such heavy cars and the brakes are just to small for the weight" I think that is a bunch of bunk!!! He is talking to a woman you know. I don't believe that volvo would design a car with brakes that are to small. This is my third volvo and I drive them until they have at least 350,000 mile on them I can't believe that I'm thinking about trading it in on a Toyota! When I take my car back to the mechanic I want to be able to tell him exactly what I want done to fix this problem (you know they don't like to listen to women). Please give me advice on how to solve this problem, which rotors, caliper, and pads to use.
Thanks for the help
