Volvo Manuals: Cheaper Sources

One of the joys of the Internet for a book lover such as me is the increased availability, and vastly more open pricing, of used books. Since Volvo owners face real hardships in purchasing the OEM manuals, inexpensive commercial manuals from Chilton, Haynes, and Bentley have to suffice. Just as a test, I used www.abebooks.com, www.mxbookfinder.com, and EBay to locate some of these manuals.

The Chilton's 1990-1993 RWD manual I found through Half.com and on EBay for $7.50 plus s/h

The Probst "Bosch Fuel Injection" manual from Bentley (normally around $45) I found from Alibris.com for $18.85 and on EBay for an opening bid of $9.95

The Haynes Volvo 940 UK version I could not locate used, but Haynes UK has it for 15 pounds plus 6 pounds s/h. Ebay has numerous listings for the same manual for around $22.

The Volvo Problem Solver (normally $70) I found on EBay for $15.00

If you look around, these are available if you can accept used or remaindered books.
