My shifter lock mechanism is acting very intermittently, so I'd like to get into it and look at the micro switch and/or solenoid, with the intent of defeating them.

I've got the center console pulled out with access to the shifter. I see 4 large bolts that hold it down to the tranny tunnel. Is it a matter of removing these and lifting the thing out so I can access the solenoid?
