I by-passed my TCB and now the clock won't work?? 200 1991

I just installed a jumper to disable my Temp Comp Board. (Of course, I removed the board completely). All went well, and now my temperature guage works great, and so does everything else -- except the clock. I took everything back apart to see what I had forgot, but I cannot find a problem. There is an extra red and white wire back there that is not connected to anything, but I cannot find a spot for it, and I didn't disconnect it in the first place. I assume that is an extra wire for some guage not found on my "DL." From the looks of the wiring, it appears the clock gets its juice from one of the three wires in the clear plastic "pigtail" just behind the speedometer. Is this correct? Maybe, I need to take it all apart AGAIN and look for some corrosion somewhere. Anyone got any better idea?? Thnaks.
