my 245glt, 1984 turbo wagon.....starts and immediately dies, will run over 200-300 rpm with your foot on the accelerator, you can sometimes get it to run up there but its poor at best and then dies when you let off, wont idle in other words. changed out the ignition components and it seems to run smoother when you get it up there, but it still appears to be trying to backfire into the air intake when it does, its got the cis injection and turbo obviously as i said. i am at a loss here any help would be great......it was running well with a slight idle surge before and just did this one day after i parked it for two days and drove my durango, when i went to start the volvinator and drive it to work that night it did this, i know its probably a jealousy thing, but i tell the car i love it and i want to drive it all the time.....lol....help please...im desperate to find this bug and im sure someone out there has had the same problem and im hoping its a simple little thing im just not thinking about.
