I was asking some 4 months ago if anyone had any ideea how should an aftermarket third brake light be wired to the system so that I don't get that annoying bulb failure light always lit on the dashboard. After following all the advice I must tell you that "IT DOESN'T WORK". At the time someone was saying that the system detects the difference between the left and the right resistivity on the wire and triggers the bulb. It's not correct, I've wired it simultaneously from both sides - IT'S NOT WORKING. Somebody else suggested that it should be wired directly from the pedal sensor to avoid the detection system completely - I've done that - IT'S NOT WORKING. HELP!!!! Give me some more ideas I'm completely defeated by this idiotic system. Please don't come with something like "go to a volvo garage" or "buy a Volvo OEM third brake light" or something like that.
