$500 to spend on tires...Whats the best tire I can get for that amount? 900

My 91 940T is in need of new tires. I have been putting two at a time...one set new one set 50% life left. Needless to say not the best plan. I have a little extra cash and I want to put all new fours on. I have about $500 bucks to spend. I will not use Firestones...not because of the past, but rather never liked them on the car. I'm would like to poll the post and see what brand and type is the best for the money.
