When you 'go in to the engine' or radiator, what makes sense? 900

OK, I'm talking '94 945. 82K miles, so I'm looking at swapping out the radiator pretty soon, plus a timing belt in 20K miles. Just wondering, when I do these projects, especially if I'm paying a shop to do the work, what else makes sense? For example, swapping radiators suggests that it might be a good time to change the coolant for some kind of nifty, volvo-approved stuff. What about when the timing belt is done? Should the water pump also be changed, as a sort of preventative measure?

These two example projects may not be the best ones to use but I'm very interested in the advice of those who know about what kind of stuff makes "value" sense, especially given a car of my type and vintage.

Thanks, in advance, for any counsel you may provide...

Markus
