I need to adjust the parking brake on my 740 GL automatic. My Chilton's Manual indicates that the adjustment is easily made at the aft end of the center console, below the armrest and behind the ash tray. However, the manual neglects to indicate how to open up the aft end of the center console. I can find no screws or clips after removing the ash tray. Any clues before I tug the wrong way and snap something? Thanks.
