New shocks all around...no Nivos S90-V90

Just had new shocks installed on the V90. Despite any visible failure (leaking cylinder), I decided to replace the originals with almost 100K on them. There is a noticable difference, eventhough the new ones are also OEM shocks from Volvo. Glad I made the switch so I could enjoy good shocks now.

As much as I wanted to convert the rears to Nivomats, the estimated price was getting a bit ridiculous. Would have had to replace the transverse leaf spring along with purchasing the Nivos, according to the parts list. The tubes on the rears look like pencils compared to the Nivos I replaced on the 92 960, but the are competent. And apparently there is no strut cartridge replacement, the whole front assembly is relaced...yiikes!

WIll head back to Baltimore tomorrow, so I'm expecting a smooth ride all the way.
