Vibration/noise in 740T 700 1990

Any ideas about the cause of a vibration that gets louder/higher with higher rpms, you can feel it in the seat, steering wheel. Feels like an airplane taking off. Garage replaced a broken exhaust system bracket but that didn't help. This is an automatic, Turbo wagon. It makes the noise when just revving the engine too.
