parts needed for a complete tune up 200

hi, i am new to the board. i find it to be very informative. i have recently bought a 1990 volvo 240 and i want to do a general tune up. i would like to know what parts i would need to change, and what needs to be clean. i would like to change the timing belt for peace of mind. the previous owner did not keep good records. is it a job for a weekend machanic of i have to take it to a dealer to do the timing belt.
