I've just replaced some instrument panel lights on the 1993 960.
One of the multiplugs is covered by a white, plastic cover part number 3 515 143.
I've broken off one of its locking tabs and would rather not replace it to have it fall off and rattle around.
What is its function? Can it be left off safely?
