740 blown tranny, pt II 700 1986

as i mentioned earlier, i have a 740 w/ a hosed transmission. being an 86, i guess it hwas a zf transmission, and it would be in my bes interest to swap it out w/ an AW tranny. my question is what exactly do i need to do this, and is there anything special i should know? as always, i appreciate the input. links would rock super time!
