Hi all,

I've got this low-pitched hum that sounds like its coming from the tailpipe, which seems really odd.

It goes up in pitch as I accelerate, and down in pitch when I decelerate, but is always there, even if I am not moving... I noticed it initially about a month ago, and now it is getting louder. I am not sure if something is just vibrating back there or if it is a sound that originates further up front but makes noise further back....

Does this sound like anything in particular? Any thoughts would be great - I want to get it taken care of ASAP, not knowing if I am trashing any parts or not. (fearful of any expense, but more interested in saving the good car).
