Aftermarket wheels/adapters 700 1992

I just added a 92 740 wagon to the fleet and wanted to add some nice alloy aftermarket wheels. In looking, it seems there are only three options available. So then I see adapters that allow use of Volvo FWD wheels. These would open up many more wheel options but not sure if they work well.
Any thoughts?
