What makes idle go up when a/c is on??? 700 1991

I need to know what sensor makes the idle go up when the air conditioning goes on. My '91 745T does not do that, so I am wondering what is not working. In my '86 744 the idle goes from 750 to 900 when the a/c is on. What tells the ECU to adjust the idle speed when the a/c is on? Anyone help me with this? Idle Air Control motor, throttle position switch...????
