Has anyone replaced their stock cam with an "A" code cam in a late 240 w/B230 engine, and how did you like the changes?

I am looking for a slight to modest power improvement, with emphasis on additional Tq production in the 2,000-4,000 rpm range. I also DO NOT want to reduce my economy one bit, and improving it is very desireable.
