Hello friends:

I have a 1989 245 DL with a CR-712 radio, and it seems that the radio is about to go out. I think its the internal amp- sometimes the right speaker goes out when I go over a bump, and sometimes the left, and sometimes both.

I bought the car a few months ago for $1400 and it runs like a friggin' top, but I'd like to put another Volvo radio in it (for minimal expense), and was wondering if other Volvo radios besides the CR-712 will fit in it with little or no modification. I was planning on going to a junkyard or Ebay for one, unless somebody has a spare CR-712 they want to part with.
