740 crank sensor removal 700 1990

I am having a rough time removing a "seized" crank sensor on my just bought 1990 740 turbo automatic. Any special trick?
I was quoted $90.00 cdn dollars for a new one.
I live in the Montreal area. Does anybody knows of any parts source other than the VOLVO dealer?

Love the car. Needs some work but will take the time and money to get it right.
