transmission leak - 1988 240 GL wagon 200 1988

Hi. 200,000 miles. I've got a xmsn leak. I've had it for several months now. Leak seems to diminish when car is parked on slight upward slope. I checked under the car about a month ago and did a rather thorough cleaning of surfaces - which were spattered with reddish-brown (more brown than red) oil. Today I checked again and this is what I saw (please excuse my terminology - or lack thereof) :

1. red bottom of the oil sump - clean
2. that part of the xmsn housing that has the 2
plastic (grid) screens in it - oily, passenger
side more so than driver side; both grids oily
3. those 2 cooling lines - oily at the aluminum
clip thing; oily on the one leading straight
back (no bend toward the xsmn can)
4. the transmission can - oily film; oily drip edge along the driver side

Does anyone have a link to a picture and description of my transmission system? That way I can correct my terminology and have a point of reference?

Best regards,

Brian
