240 turbo upgrade 200 1983

The bearings are starting to "talk" to me on the turbo in my 83GLT (intercooled). I would like to do a modest upgrade if I am going to replace it. Would the T3/T4 hybrid fall into this category? If not, what should I be looking for? The current turbo is water/oil cooled, and I would like to continue this for longevity reasons. Can you get the water/oil option on the upgraded turbos? Also, would the upgraded turbo be a direct fit, or would I have to make alterations.
