Engine, transmission mounts? 200 1987

Had a pretty good wreck this morning, rear-ended a Chevy silverado at around 40 MPH and bent the hell out of his sub-frame. Amazingly, the good old volvo seems to have taken little damage, although I still have to inspect it thoroughly. As far as I can see, the engine and tranny mounts are shot and the bumper is bent down about a half-inch on the driver's side. The rear of the engine, over by the firewall, is sitting lower than the front, the tranny looks the same, the shift stick feels kinda weird and doesn't seem to be properly aligned to the neutral switch, and ane of the doughnut-like rubber supports for the tailpie seems to have broken, so the tailpipe is sitting lower than it should.

Is my assesment right? Can the engine hang lower on the rear when the mounts are shot, or am I looking at some frame damage here?

Thanks
