cam timing 200

I am currently repairing my 200 origanally I thought I burnt a valve; I pulled the head and discovered that the #1 exaust valve spring was broken. Now as i perpair to reassemble the motor a few things are bothering me. First the TDC mark dose not line in sync with the pistons. the mark is about 10 deg. advanced should I go with the mark or make a new mark that corrisponds to the piston? How will this affect the valve timing?
