Need info on fast rebuild or ?
I'm in a bit of a bind again. You good people helped with my firing order mixup, which got me on the road. The saga continues.
My car is at a AAA garage in Charlotte, NC. I'm 250 mi., in VA, away and the meter on my rental is ticking.
I drove in 90 degree temps from Savannah, GA to Charlotte (about 250 mi.. In heavy traffic car quit. Would turn over, but not fire. Automark (AAA sanctioned) tech replaced ignition module & RPM sensor on top of bell housing, test drove and thought all was well. No. No. I drove 17 miles, car quit, with exact same symptoms. Now tech believes ECU is the problem. I have the ECU in my hand.
Questions: what is with EGR, & without EGR?
All sites I've found are really vague on pricing. Any suggestions on quick rebuild in USA or UK, or? Or rebuilt available, where?
