940 heater hoses 900 1994

Any tricks to getting the hot water outlet hose off the block? I checked the FAQ and didn't see anthing. It seems virtually inaccesible. I've felt around it and can't find the hose clamp screw at all.
My hose perforated yesterday 550 miles from home and I don't have anything other than a few ordinary tools around to use. So if this isn't pretty straight forward I'll have to take it to dealer tomorrow morning. Thanks.
