timing belt replacement 200 1990

The timing belt broke on my 1990 240 a few weeks ago, so i got it towed to a mechanic because it was far from my house. Anyway, it took him forever to fix it and when i got it back yesterday it started up, but it has no power at all. It seems like the cylinders aren't getting a spark, or i might not even be running on all 4 cylinders. It will barely go over 35 mph and it can't make it up hills at all.

Anyway, i tried to change the timing on the distributor but it doesn't seem to make it any better. wondering if this could be a fuel pump of fuel filter problem... i don't really know...
