My seat position control switches operate only when they feel like it. They are either all alive at the same time or all dead at the same time. When they are alive, the seat controls work beautifully. With the ignition key "on", there is power to both the power hot terminal and the relay hot terminals at the front of the seat control switch assembly whether it is alive or dead at the time of measurement, suggesting that the problem is inside the switch assembly, not elsewhere.

I have removed the seat switch cluster and have disassembled, cleaned and reassembled all 5 switches as suggested in the FAQ. The "stop" switch has been jumpered with a soldered wire across its bottom terminals and all other wire connections to the bottom of the board have been resoldered.

Has anyone managed to remove the circuit board from its enclosure (without breaking anything) and if so, how?

Does the stop switch hold it all together? How does that come apart?

Has anyone replaced the main relay inside the assembly? If so with what part?

The easy way is a new or used part and maybe that will be the ending of this saga but I'd sure like to look at the upper side of the circuit board now that I have gone this far. All suggestions will be appreciated, even source of used parts. Thanks!
