Having recently 'instrumented' my crank case (connected prsure guage to dip stick tube, took a drive) and foufn i have up to 1 PSI in there under full boost (hmmmmmm) and having read lots of stuff on the web about crankcase presure i have a few silly questions....
1. I keep reading about PCV systems having breathers on the engine to allow air IN to the PCV system (normally via the air filter) does the brick have this
2. I have read about turbo cars having the tubes between the manafold and the PCV system either with one way valves, or delete - why does this not apply to the brick
3. Has anyone else ever measured their crank presure under load (full boost), if so what readings did you get (AKA is my reading unusual??)
4. anyone know how to calculate hte blow by from the air presure and hte internal diameter of the tube...i figure their must be a fairly simle formula?
thanks in advance (i feel a nw engine comming on though...or more probably a new car...)
