AC RapidFire Plugs: Too Much Wear

I tried a set of AC Rapidfire plugs in my 940 turbo. Verdict: nice plug, but the gap erosion over 40k miles was off the chart: fully 2X out of spec. I replaced them with NGK platinums which in two other cars do not erode at all over at least 70k miles. Buy the NGKs at www.clubplug.net, where they have a good selection. Their Iridiums are now down to about $6.50 per plug, a very decent price, and they last forever.
