heater core of 92 240 200

is there anything wrong if I just clamped my heator core hoses permanently or semi permanently? meaning, remove the heator control valve (its broken and leaking anyway) and just leave the heator core in there unused and clamp both to and fro heater core hoses that are under my dash board. of course that will mean I have no hot air when I want it, but that is okay. and also no other way to reduce overheating if it happens, but that is okay.

any other problem?
