Hi All
The 88 745's dash warning lights have all came on and remain on. This was proceeded by a service engine light which came on 2 days earlier. The current situation is as follows:
Start car (engine starts fine)
Dash lights and engine service light comes on.
After driving for a minute the service engine light goes off.
As the engine rpm is increased the dash lights dim and almost go off.
As the rpms decrease the lights brighten and come on.
Am I correct in suspecting the altenator or is there another cause?
The car has 230,000 miles.
