front control arm rear bracket bolts, special?? 200 1988

What is special about the front control arm rear bracket bolts??

When i was removing the front control arm to replace the bushings, one of the rear bracket bolts was stripped, another didn't look so good. The bolts appear to be 10mm x 1.5 with 3-4 spiral cuts across the threads. What is the purpose of the spiral thread cut? locking feature? thread-cutting? self-cleaning feature?

The local Volvo dealership wants $5.80/each and has to order, so it would cost me $35 to replace all six.

Will a standard high grade bolt, set with locktite, work??

Thanks.
