alright, i have 4 in. speakers in front, and i'd like to block excessive bass from them; crutchfield has a pair for 300 hz, suggested for 4 in. speakers. ki believe that they are nothing but capacitors, yes? any idea what value capacitor i should use? my current guess is 100 uf, but they need to be non polarized; could i find them at my local radioshack?
i've heard that most people have the wrong size tires on their 240s, i havent actually tested mine (preferred method? mile markers+trip meter?) but the speed indicator stations they have around here report a few mph lower than my speedo reads.
can you calibrate the speedo for new tires>
and finally, my clutch slips under acceleration (m70? 5 spd on 87 240, cable) i will try adjusting it soon, but i just noticed that if i push the pedal to the floor, there's a sound of something spinning rubbing on something stationary. it's metal on metal, but not extreme, i can only hear it when idling in a quiet parking lot with the door open. it seems that adjusting the clutch to remove the slippage would worsen the rubbing, and vice-versa.
-morgan. thanks.
