Last night I noticed all of my idiot lights went on after I turned on the headlamps. They stayed on and flickered and faded as I accelerated. Any Ideas?
I am going to try to see if there is a bad ground to the alternator and battery. I am also going to try a new battery to see if that makes a difference this weekend. I never noticed the lights on in the daytime before, but they are all faintly on and the only way to see it is by putting the dash in the shadow of something. Has this happened to anyone before?
I hope this is not the wiring harness shorting out. My other option is to replace the alternator, I happen to have a spare one in my garage just in case.
