1990 740 O/D Solinoid??? 700 1990

Having just replaced my overdrive solinoid no more than 2 months ago, my wagon will INTERMITENTLY not shift into top cruising gear. This has now happened several times and can be cured by turning off the engine and starting all over. It will happen when it's hot or cold and fluid is at correct level. I would assume it's not the solinoid again, but who knows. Any suggestions?
