I really got myself into a job on this one I think. I accidently broke the plastic housing for the evaporator. This is the part that goes around the heater core and contains the vent door for the heater.

I assume I am going to have to pull the heater core out in order to change the plastic housing that is on the back side and around the core itself - is that correct ? Also, should I just go ahead and replace the core since it is so old ?
