Foam btw transmission and tunnel 200

I have a '74 144 and one of the "upgrades" I'm doing is installing the 240 foam between the transmission and tunnel. Since I don't have any 240 manuals, could someone please tell me what is required to squeeze in that piece of foam. I realize I have to remove the shifter, but it seems I need to drop down the transmission as well. Hope that space is not too different between the 140 and 240.
