The board has done it again! I can't tell you how many times I have had a problem and searched or created a post and have received the info I needed to fix my car. There is so much information in previous posts that most times it isn't even necessary to create a new post. This time my car wouldn't start after several days of rain. Earlier this year I had replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, and pre pump (all with bboard help) so I knew it was none of these. I read a previous no start post after rain and someone suggested a hair dryer to dry off the wires. I took a hair dryer out with an extension cord, and viola started right up again! I would have never thought to do that without reading about it. The board has saved me so many times. I just made a donation to help keep the board alive. Just wanted to express my gratitude and thank everyone for their help and all the information you have supplied here. I don't think there is any other make of car that has such a dedicated community that is willing to help each other out. If you get help from the board why not make a donation and help guarantee it for the future? I have an 87 240 DL and 74 164E, and several more to come in the future. There have been so many quirky things that had me stuck and I always seem to find the answer on the board.
