I have a 1983 242 ti with the CIS fuel system. I just finished replacing the head gasket as well as almost every other gasket over the weekend. I even had time to swap a turbo with less kms! The problem I have is that the car will fire up but will not idle ... it just stalls out. The timing is dead on (12 deg)and I can keep the car running with the gas pedal. Any ideas? It seems like such a simple thing but I haven't been able to sovle it yet.
