Lately we've been having weather over 85 degrees here in the Portland Oregon area and my 82 turbo started acting up. When the temp is above 80-85 and I start it after it has sat all day, it idles fine and runs ok as long as you are VERY gentle on the gas. If you step into it at all it cuts out quite a bit until the engine is fully up to operating temperature. In the morning when the air temp is in the 50's to 60's it runs fine. If you get on it it cuts out and bucks and snorts and then will take off really strong and then cut and buck some more. It seems to be a temperature issue. I recently replaced the control pressure regulator and I did the thermo time switch and temperature sensor about 2 years ago.
Any ideas? The car is for sale and I would prefer it ran better for any prospective buyers.
Thanks all!!!
