Hi gang-
my 80GT, when first getting up to speed in the morning, emits what looks like good old fashioned fog from the center air vents. Recirc limits the fog to a lazy curl, and when the recirc is turned off, the fog blows out in a rush. It's gone as soon as you notice it. I'm just curious about what it is? It's about 60F, maybe a little cooler, car is stored outside. Oh, the car has AC as well. Heater is in the cool position, which actually takes me to my next question:
With the temp slider set to cool, there's still warm air coming from the vents. I checked the heater control valve to make sure it's properly adjusted, and it's going from stop to stop (open to closed) easily, maybe too easily? The warm setting is definitely hot, no complaints there, but the lukewarm air on the cool setting is annoying. Engaging recirc slows the airflow, but there's still this hot (okay, warm) breath coming at you from the dash. Not fun on a hot day:-)
do the heater control valves corrode and leak inside? Are they easily removed/inspected/replaced?
Thanks-
Kyle
