The transmission on my '93 940 seems to be slipping out of gear at speeds between 45 and 60 mph when traveling at constant speed with the engine under minimal load. It feels like a subtle clunk, like the tranny is quickly shifting out and back into gear. The clunk feels just about like the normal clunk when the engine shifts, but is not associate with a shift from a lower to higher gear. It only happens occassionally, but seems like it may be signal of worse things to come. Any suggestings? Flushing the tranny?
