Glove box glue? 200 1984

Okay, I know someone out there has a secret. What type of glue should one use to glue the glove box cover back on the metal. I don't want to waste my time doing the trial and error thing. I'd rather hear it from someone who knows. Silicone? Gorilla snot? Epoxy?
