Hi:
I converted my 1986 Turbo Wagon A/C system to R134A at the beginning of the Summer. Everything, so far has been good. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I"ve noticed quite a bit of Compressor cycling. Especially when I first start on a cool morning and running at speed with air flow past the Condenser. Duct temperature is still around 45 to 50 degrees at idle. Is this normal or is it indicative of a low charge.
I haven't put the gauges on it yet. I have no High Pressure tap. The only one I can find is on the Compressor Outlet, very hard to get at. What should be normal operating pressures be for R134A in this season?
Thanks
